Shariah: France-Syria reconstruction deals
Interim Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharý emphasized that French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to Damascus marks the beginning of a new phase of cooperation between the two countries. This includes the signing of agreements aimed at supporting Syria's reconstruction efforts and strengthening national institutions, with an expected prominent French role in infrastructure projects and the financial sector. The visit, which is the first by a French president since 2008, was seen as particularly significant for enhancing bilateral relations based on mutual respect and revitalizing partnership in vital areas.
