The Jordanian government intends to establish a new legal framework to regulate ministerial work, aiming to enhance integrity and transparency, prevent conflicts of interest, and ensure accountability. This initiative comes in response to a conflict of interest case involving the Minister of Labor, which led to the suspension of certain tenders and the cancellation of a contract with a company owned by the minister's son. The new system will include mandatory rules to organize ministers' relationships with government entities and to prevent the misuse of personal information for personal gain. This move represents an important step toward improving ministry management and strengthening citizens' trust in government institutions.
