The French Press Agency has revealed details of an incident at the Port of Damietta in Egypt, where a drone attack caused a fire on two ships involved in gas liquefaction and storage. Fortunately, there were no human casualties. The ship captains were able to control the fire through quick intervention; the first captain closed the gas tank valves, which halted the spread of the flames, while the fire on the second ship continued into the late hours. Debris from the drone, which is believed to be small and whose aircraft escaped the port's defense systems, was found. Investigations are underway to determine who is behind the attack, with reaffirmation that Egypt does not intend to go to war and that the investigations will reveal the responsible parties.
