UN alarms over Israel demolitions in Lebanon
The United Nations expressed its deep concern over the demolitions and bombings carried out by Israel in southern Lebanon, despite the ceasefire. Civil infrastructure and cultural heritage have been damaged, and raids have resulted in two people being injured in Nabatieh. The statement clarified that this escalation threatens stability, emphasizing the importance of utilizing diplomatic channels to address these issues, while warning that these operations pose a direct threat to the framework agreement signed in June between Lebanon and Israel.
