The Egyptian Football Association, headed by Hani Abou-Rida, praised the decision of the International Federation (FIFA) to cancel the plan to sell stakes in the men's and women's World Cup tournaments, which had been a subject of widespread controversy. The association confirmed that this decision reflects FIFA's commitment to maintaining the unity of the international football system and its approach of dialogue and consultation with national federations. Additionally, the federation fully supported the decision of FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who indicated that the project was causing divisions and disagreements, and that its cancellation serves the primary goal of developing football globally.
