Egypt Expert Highlights China's Role in Development
Egyptian expert Major General Tarek Nasser emphasized that China plays a vital role in Egypt's development trajectory, benefiting from the success of the strategic partnership between the "Belt and Road" Initiative and Egypt's Vision 2030. Since the signing of the strategic partnership agreement in 2014, Chinese investments have grown significantly and contributed to major projects such as constructing the financial and business district in the New Administrative Capital, launching the electric train, and advancing space technology and renewable energy. The "Belt and Road" Initiative has also helped elevate Egypt's geo-economic standing by localizing technology, achieving economic gains, increasing trade exchange, developing infrastructure, and creating job opportunities. The statement underscores that collaboration between the two countries enhances stability and sustainable development and encourages the building of a fairer global system based on cooperation and mutual benefit.
