Court bombing victims blame Sudanese army
At least 35 to 37 people were killed and around 40 others injured in a drone attack targeting a local court in the village of Garaa Zawaya in North Darfur, during a meeting of regional leaders. The Emergency Lawyers Group accused the Sudanese army of carrying out the attack, which came as part of an escalation in drone strikes targeting the Rapid Support Forces in Darfur, aimed at weakening their capabilities following recent defeats. The Sudanese Tashisi Alliance called for an independent investigation and accountability of those responsible, urging the international community to act to protect civilians from these repeated assaults.
