Israeli airstrike injures Misk disables her speech
Palestinian young girl Musk Abu Moza, just 3 years old, continues to suffer lasting scars after sustaining severe burns in an Israeli airstrike on the Shati Refugee Camp in Gaza in December 2025. The attack caused disfigurement to her face, the loss of part of her ear, as well as hearing and speech impairments. She is now experiencing health complications that worsen during the summer due to her burns and scars, which cause intense itching and pain. She urgently requires reconstructive and rehabilitative surgeries outside Gaza. Although her family has obtained approval for treatment abroad, they are awaiting permission to travel so she can receive the necessary care. The medical services available within Gaza are inadequate due to a shortage of equipment and medicines, and the lack of cooling facilities, all of which further exacerbate her suffering and threaten her future.
