FIFA Warning Confronts Zamalek Over Abdel Hamid Maali
The International Football Federation (FIFA) has sent a notification to Zamalek Club demanding the payment of $500,000 in outstanding financial rights to Moroccan player Abdelhamid Maali, following a court ruling granting him the right to his dues after the contract was unilaterally terminated. FIFA has given the club a 45-day deadline to settle the amount; failure to comply could result in a transfer ban for two transfer windows, which would impact their ability to sign new players. This case is part of a series of financial crises and unresolved transfer issues facing the club, which continues to work on resolving legal matters to ensure readiness for the upcoming season and avoid penalties.
