Russia reports liberation of two towns
The Russian forces announced the liberation of two new towns in southern and northern Ukraine within a 24-hour period, as Ukrainian forces suffered 1,380 casualties in successive Russian operations. The Russian Ministry of Defense issued a statement explaining that forces from the "South," "North," "East," and "Central" units made progress and inflicted significant losses on the enemy, in addition to targeting logistical sites, warships, and electronic targets in the area. This comes as part of broad Russian military operations ongoing since the start of the military action in Ukraine, amid continued leadership changes and efforts to develop the Russian Armed Forces, including the creation of a new branch specialized in unmanned systems led by General Denis Liemian. The article did not mention any additional political details or final outcomes, but the military movement continues intensively to achieve expanded objectives as part of Russia's operational strategy in the region.
