Brad Pitt intensifies legal fight with Jolie
The legal battle between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie over the ownership of the French winery "Château Miraval" has progressed. Brad Pitt has requested the court to compel Jolie to present her financial records from 2017 to 2019 for review, in order to examine the dispute that began in 2021 when Jolie sold her stake in the winery without Pitt's approval, leading him to file a lawsuit in 2022. Pitt's legal team emphasized the importance of accessing previous records to verify the validity of the claims, while Jolie's team rejected the request, stating that her financial records only cover 2020 and 2021 and believing that asking for older records is unnecessary. The legal proceedings are expected to continue, with a scheduled ownership dispute trial set for August 2027.
