Iran and Oman agree on Strait routes
The Iranian Foreign Ministry confirmed that Iran and Oman have agreed on the characteristics of the routes in the Strait of Hormuz, and that the joint declaration between the two countries is in its final stage and conditioned on the non-interference of third parties. The Foreign Ministry spokesperson explained that this agreement does not automatically guarantee the security of the strait, noting that Iran is exchanging views with Pakistan and Qatar, and that the agreement may be postponed due to U.S. interventions that threaten Iran. Meanwhile, the U.S. President warned that Iran will be struck hard if the Strait is not opened quickly.
