Erdoğan submits complaint over 2016 attack
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has filed an official complaint against the terrorist Burkay Kara Tepa, a member of the team involved in attempting to assassinate him during the failed coup carried out by the Gülen organization in July 2016. Kara Tepa, who had been wanted for ten years, was arrested after confessing during investigations to his participation in the attack targeting Erdoğan's residence in Marmaris and his affiliation with the Gülen organization. The complaint includes charges of attempted murder of the president, violation of the constitution, and undermining national unity. These charges are added to the existing accusations against him, as part of the Turkish government's efforts to promote justice and ensure stability in the country.
