Ahmed Al-Shar announces Deir ez-Zor airport opening
interim Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharq said that the Deir ez-Zor airport, which was previously used to drop bombs on homes and farms, has now been transformed into a means of connecting the city to its surroundings and the outside world. He announced a project to establish a large industrial city that will include food and petrochemical industries, aiming to provide employment opportunities and directly export products to global markets. He explained that implementing these projects will take time, with a focus on rehabilitating roads to ensure safe and flexible transportation for citizens.
