The article addresses Russia's countermeasures in response to the expulsion of a Russian diplomat from Romania. It quotes the deputy director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Information Department, who stated that Moscow will respond at the appropriate time and in a manner it deems suitable, out of respect for its dignity. This comes after Romania alleged violations involving unmanned aerial vehicles flying over its sovereignty by Russia, which were then intercepted and shot down by Romanian F-16 fighter jets. The article also indicates that Russia considers Romania's move unfriendly and is looking to respond accordingly. Tensions between the two countries are escalating amid the ongoing Ukrainian crisis and accusations of air violations and military activities in the region.
