Reports have indicated that German club Bayer Leverkusen is on the verge of completing the signing of French winger Moussa Diaby from Saudi club Al-Ittihad for €30 million, with a contract lasting until 2031 and an annual salary estimated at €6 million. Inter Milan was also close to signing him, but Leverkusen edged out the competition. Diaby is expected to relinquish part of his owed wages from Al-Ittihad to facilitate the transfer. During his two seasons with Al-Ittihad, he scored 11 goals and provided 29 assists, having joined the club in 2024 for €60 million. The club is now searching for a high-level right winger to replace his departure.
