The seventh round of negotiations between Lebanon and Israel in Rome has concluded without reaching an agreement on expanding Israel's pullout from southern Lebanon. The negotiations addressed key issues such as the designated zones, exchanged lists of prisoners, and discussed security verification mechanisms. Lebanon continues to insist on transferring to new areas, while Israel insists on completing verification in the initial zones before moving on. The talks were halted without a final decision on resuming the withdrawal, and an Israeli political response is awaited to finalize the matter.
