Spain reports over 100 deaths at Ceuta border
Spain launched an offensive against the flow of migrants to Ceuta from Morocco. The city’s governor announced that approximately 100 people died during the attempted assault that took place last week, while there are still between 3,000 and 5,000 undocumented migrants in the city. He confirmed that the lack of sufficient security forces and immigration services has worsened the situation, with rumors spreading across social media about opening the borders. This led to an unprecedented influx estimated at 72,000 migrants over several days, with 70,000 of them being returned to Morocco. The Spanish government attributed these rumors to unknown sources, stating that the propaganda campaign was coordinated and is part of a planned operation to increase the flow of migrants.
