Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf stated that Tehran does not trust the theatrical diplomacy based on intimidation and false promises. He emphasized that the United States needs to acknowledge the facts and honor its commitments, pointing out that a large-scale attack is imminent. Additionally, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister confirmed that the country has received messages from Washington indicating their readiness to return to their obligations. This comes alongside an escalation in the security plan for the Strait of Hormuz, where a temporary maritime route will be established through Iranian waters. The implementation of transit fees will depend on U.S. behavior. These statements reflect Iran's increasing hostility toward American policies and affirm its rejection of foreign intervention in the management of the strait.
