FC Barcelona announced the cancellation of their scheduled friendly match on August 15th in Tangier, northern Morocco, due to the unstable conditions in the region. Although the match was expected to be against Ittihad Tangier, the club confirmed that the true reason was the delayed organizational arrangements by club officials, and that recent events in Sef Tama are not related to the cancellation. Barcelona is expected to play another friendly match on the same date to prepare their team for the upcoming season, under the leadership of coach Hansi Flick.
