Tehran and Moscow have taken new steps to enhance their trade exchange using their national currencies. The Iranian Minister of Industry announced that the cooperation includes linking financial networks, signing a monetary agreement, and activating financial messaging systems between the two countries, which will facilitate commercial transactions and expand economic and industrial collaboration. The measures also involved connecting the "Shaparak" and "Mir" payment networks, as well as developing customs and transportation infrastructure to reduce clearance times and accelerate economic projects. These actions are expected to open a new chapter in the strategic partnership between Iran and Russia.
