Kim Yo Jong, the sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, confirmed that the West is using Ukraine as a proxy war against Russia in order to deliver a strategic defeat to Moscow. She warned that prolonging the conflict in Europe worsens geopolitical crises and increases risks, amid a strategic rapprochement between Pyongyang and Moscow, with North Korea providing extensive military support to Russia, including millions of shells and missiles. These statements come amid escalating fighting in the region and questions about the future of the conflict, as Moscow rejects freezing the war and considers peace to be a short halt, while the remarks highlight a shared Russian-North Korean stance against Western dominance.
