His Royal Highness King Salman bin Abdulaziz has issued a royal decree to transform the charitable platform "Ihsan" into an independent, non-profit organization named "Ihsan Foundation for Charitable Work." The goal is to strengthen charitable work, connect donors with beneficiaries, and improve the efficiency of the non-profit sector in Saudi Arabia. This step comes as part of supporting the platform, which has since its establishment in 2021 processed over 440 million donation transactions with a total value of 17 billion riyals (approximately $4.53 billion). It aims to enable the platform to expand its services and stimulate innovation through expanded authority, contributing to elevating human and volunteer work. This initiative aligns with the objectives of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
