The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, emphasized that the Palestinian cause is now at a pivotal juncture following the acceptance of the peace plan by Palestinian factions and their readiness to collect arms. He pointed out that the ball is now in Israel's court to fulfill its commitments. This was stated during a joint press conference with the Egyptian Foreign Minister, where they discussed the situation in Gaza and the Palestinian territories. He noted that mediation efforts had been intense to achieve an agreement, but Israel continued to violate agreements, escalate settlement activities, and carry out assaults, while tensions persisted in Lebanon and Syria. The talks also addressed the crisis in Sudan and support for political solutions in Libya.
