China has called on the United States to immediately revoke the tariffs imposed under Section 232 on drones and their spare parts, describing them as harmful to Chinese business interests and as obstacles to international cooperation in the manufacturing and supply of drones. It affirmed that U.S. measures are unilateral and justified under the pretext of national security, which it broadly interprets, threatening the market environment and discriminating against Chinese products. China also responded to claims of a "hidden transit network," dismissing them as false allegations, and emphasized that costly and variable tariffs disrupt global supply chains and hinder commercial development. China urged the United States to cease escalation and to engage in fair cooperation, committed to international rules and promoting economic relations and fair competition.
