An attempt to target fuel tanks in Tripoli with a drone mission has triggered warnings about the danger of threats to oil facilities in Libya. The National Oil Corporation condemned the incident that occurred at the Brega storage facility, confirming that no injuries were reported and indicating the commencement of comprehensive precautionary measures, including the withdrawal of fuel from the tanks to prevent any deterioration in supplies. This comes amid a severe fuel crisis the country has been experiencing for a week, with repeated attacks on vital facilities, and calls from relevant authorities for an investigation and the pursuit of those responsible for the threats and attacks that threaten Libya's economic security and essential services.
