U.S. President Donald Trump announced that oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz have returned to their pre-escalation levels with Iran. Currently, maritime traffic in the strait is receiving about 18 million barrels per day compared to 20 million before the crisis. He explained that U.S. forces recently escorted 40 commercial ships through the strait, the highest level since tensions began in the region, indicating a significant improvement in oil movement. Trump mentioned that his country is now in good control of the strait and is achieving positive results with Iran, while remaining prepared to launch new attacks if necessary.
