The Democratic Republic of the Congo announced that it will relocate its embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, in a symbolic move demonstrating its support for Israel's sovereignty over the disputed city. This came after a visit by President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi, during which both sides confirmed their intention to take steps to transfer the embassy. This move is part of the sympathies of some countries with Israel's position regarding Jerusalem.
