Hamza Abdul Karim Heads Barcelona in Champions League
The Spanish club Barcelona has announced its squad for the 2026-2027 UEFA Champions League competition. The list includes a surprise kickoff with the addition of Egyptian forward Hamza Abdul Karim, alongside his teammate Jésé Bissouo, making them both eligible to participate in the continental tournament. The team is expected to start their European campaign next week against Dutch club Feyenoord, with Hamza hopeful for a chance to feature either in the starting lineup or as a substitute. Meanwhile, winger Rony Bardagi will be absent due to injury, with an expected six-month recovery period. The roster features some of the team's top stars as part of Barcelona's plan to compete for the European title, with a particular focus on developing Hamza Abdul Karim's role in the upcoming season.
