Israeli army reports Hamas battalion leader killed

The Israeli army announced the assassination of Hamas leader Muhammad Al-Qadi, who was leading the elite squad in the movement's military wing, in an airstrike in Khan Younis. Israel accused him of leading attacks and taking hostages during the October War, as well as overseeing training to rebuild the movement's capabilities. Palestinian sources also confirmed the death of a member of Saraya Al-Quds during a clash with an Israeli force supported by drones in Khan Younis. This comes as part of an escalation in Israeli military operations in Gaza, amidst ongoing intensification of clashes between the two sides.
