Washington probes Iran wedding blast
A report indicates that American forces carried out airstrikes on a house near Koohestak village in southern Iran during a wedding celebration, resulting in the death of five people and injuring approximately 70. The U.S. military is investigating the incident, emphasizing that civilians were not targeted. It is believed that the damages are consistent with a direct hit by American ammunition, although the investigation is still ongoing. The incident comes amid escalating tensions in the region following Iranian attacks on ships in the Strait of Hormuz and American responses concerning responsibility for the strike and ongoing investigations.
