Chinese President Xi Jinping called for strengthening efforts in children's culture to nurture a new generation of loyal followers of the socialist cause. This statement was made in celebration of the seventy-year anniversary of the "Xiaolaba" program, launched in 1956, which is considered China's first radio program aimed at children. He urged the continued instillation of virtue, staying abreast of technological advances, and producing cultural works that promote moral and aesthetic values among children. Emphasis was placed on developing their intellectual, physical, and practical skills so they can contribute to the country's renaissance.
