US Report: Zelensky's Support Declines
Foreign Policy magazine has obtained a report indicating that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky is facing a sharp decline in popular and political support. The majority of Ukrainians are losing confidence in him due to the deteriorating economic situation and corruption scandals involving close officials. Polls suggest he may lose in the upcoming elections, with corruption levels rising to over 90%, the highest in years, which could negatively affect troop morale and increase internal tensions amid ongoing war and escalating Russian attacks. The report discusses options for reforming the political system, but its analysis suggests that changing the situation will be difficult amid waning trust and internal divisions.
