The article clarifies that the visit of American envoys Steve Witekoff and Jared Kushner to Moscow, following a visit by the Director of the CIA, indicates a return by Washington to diplomatic settlement efforts for the Ukraine crisis after a period of stagnation. Russian President Vladimir Putin met with Witekoff and Kushner at the Kremlin, where they discussed ways to resolve the conflict. Putin emphasized the need to address the root causes of the dispute. During this time, aerial operations over Kyiv paused for three days starting at midnight, coinciding with communications between the sides.
