The Italian newspaper "Corriere Albì" reported that a homeless man known as "Haider" in the city of Belluno, Italy, was carrying a bag containing 80 banknotes of 50 euros each, with a total value of up to 4,000 euros. He began distributing the money in the street. He was unable to explain the source of the funds he possessed, which were all authentic, and the case remains mysterious regarding the origin of the money and why no one reported losing such a large amount. According to Italian law, individuals are obliged to report lost items or money, and failure to do so is considered unlawful possession. In Germany, it is required to report amounts exceeding 10 euros, and if the owner does not come forward within six months, the person who found the money becomes its owner and may be entitled to a reward of up to 5% of its value. The case is currently under investigation, and the funds have been transferred to the Belluno municipality, which will decide how to handle them later.
