Security forces raided a site in the city of Sarmineh in Daraa countryside after laying siege and given a deadline for members of the ISIS organization to surrender, but they did not respond. This resulted in the killing of three of its members and injuries to others during clashes with the armed group, which is affiliated with the organization and carries out attacks against Syrian security forces, especially in southern areas. Authorities imposed a temporary curfew in the city and continue to pursue wanted individuals, with the group's presence concentrated in the northern part of the country and connected to active cells in the south, following the Syrian government's announcement of its accession to the international coalition fighting terrorism.
