The spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attempt by the Houthis, supported by Iran, to target Mecca with a drone, describing it as a condemnable act, while emphasizing the importance of not politicizing Islamic holy sites. Saudi Arabia announced that its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed the drone that tried to enter the airspace over Mecca, while the Houthi militia denied these allegations.
