Trump comments on Fly Dubai incident
U.S. President Donald Trump discussed an attempted hijacking of a Fly Dubai flight, noting that the passengers' efforts to overpower the attacker were "absolutely remarkable." He described the co-pilot as possibly being a terrorist and believed that the intention was to destroy the plane. Trump confirmed that one of the passengers lacked flying experience but managed to take control of the aircraft after pulling up the control stick and elevating the plane, relying on knowledge he had gained from watching "air disaster" programs. He also mentioned that the war with Iran will soon end either through negotiations or by force, and he predicted that fuel prices would drop as a result.
