Trump comments on Iran strike timing and recent offer
U.S. President Donald Trump spoke about Iran's deteriorating situation, confirming that its economy is collapsing and that Iran wants to reach a deal, but he insists that it must be a real deal. He indicated that military strikes against Iran remain a possible option, with the potential to be resumed after the midterm elections. He criticized Iran's recent ceasefire offer, asserting that he will not accept what he previously rejected, and he believes that destroying Iran is the way to achieve worldwide peace. He clarified that the United States controls the Strait of Hormuz and has transported the largest amount of oil overnight. He also touched on America's military capabilities, emphasizing that the U.S. stocks large quantities of weapons and that the situation is good, rejecting reports of a shortage of munitions.
