Madiha Hamdi on Hijab's Effect on Art
Egyptian actress Madiha Hamdi revealed the impact of her decision to wear the hijab on her roles in artistic works. She explained that wearing the hijab often caused problems during filming, especially in scenes requiring her to appear alongside her husband. Directors searched for solutions to avoid her having to remove the hijab during shooting. She clarified that this issue was a challenge for the production team, but it did not prevent her from continuing her artistic career, which has been distinguished by work in theater, cinema, and television—particularly television drama, which made her one of the most prominent stars of the Egyptian and Arab screens.
