Putin urges avoiding strategic defeat for Russia
Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that attempting to achieve a "strategic defeat" for Russia carries significant risks and could lead to escalations in conflicts. He considered that the core of the global security crisis lies in the confrontation of blocs and the West's pursuit of unilateral security advantages. He emphasized that resolving conflicts remains dependent on mutual concessions and restoring a balance of power, calling on Europe to abandon bloc mentality and return to the principle of equal security. He also pointed out that the global system is heading towards the demise of unipolarity in favor of a multipolar world, urging the West to adapt to this reality and respect the interests of different nations, while stressing the importance of adhering to legal rules and ethical standards to achieve international stability.
