Impact of US withdrawal on Iraq security
A poll conducted by the "Al Mashhad" platform on social media showed that 57% of participants believe that the US withdrawal from Iraq impacts its security stability, while 43% think there is no effect. The US Department of Defense (Pentagon) confirmed that it will continue providing training and intelligence support to Iraq after the conclusion of the international coalition's mission against ISIS, which resulted in ending Operation "Determined Resolve" and the defeat of the organization in Iraq. The withdrawal from Erbil Air Base marks a successful conclusion to the military efforts that drove ISIS out.
