Joint List responds to Ben Gvir and Gottlieb
The surroundings of the Israeli Supreme Court in Jerusalem witnessed a heated debate between Ben-Gvir and a number of Arab and left-wing politicians, coinciding with the court's consideration of the Election Committee's decisions regarding the disqualification of candidates and lists from running in the 26th Knesset elections, including cases involving Sami Abu Shhaba, Ofer Casif, the Arab Joint List, and the United List. Ben-Gvir accused Ahmad Tibi and his colleagues of "terrorism" and announced that they would be expelled from the Knesset. Tibi responded by saying, "Every dog gets its day." The session saw sharp exchanges of words between Ben-Gvir, Ofer Casif, and Yusuf Jabarin, following the Election Committee's decisions on September 23 concerning the requests to disqualify several candidates.
