Yemeni Army Conducts 1122 Operations Against Houthis
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced that they have carried out 1,122 operations targeting Houthi sites, resulting in the neutralization of 1,747 members of the group and the destruction of 364 military vehicles and equipment. These operations are part of the "Liberation Battle" aimed at restoring government institutions and ending the Houthi coup. The attacks included targeting artillery positions, fortifications, and command centers on several fronts, utilizing air strikes, artillery sieges, and missiles. This comes simultaneously with the start of coalition support for the operations, amid an ongoing military escalation that began in July 2026, with the goal of regaining control over territories seized by the Houthis, particularly in Taiz and Hodeidah.
