The Yemeni government forces launched the "Fajr Yemen" operation to regain control of areas held by the Houthis, including the liberation of the capital, Sana'a, and the end of the Houthi coup, as part of the recent military escalation. The forces carried out more than 1,122 precise attacks on the fronts in Saada, Al Jouf, and Taiz, resulting in the neutralization of 1,747 Houthis and the destruction of 364 military vehicles. They successfully liberated the Dhu Bot district and strategic sites around the Bab al-Mandab Strait, areas of high military and economic significance, after fierce battles that resulted in casualties among the Houthis. Additionally, the forces launched a strategic attack on Sana'a, with aerial support from the Saudi-led coalition, which deployed 100 aircraft to achieve rapid progress on the ground. Military sources confirm that the goal is to topple the Houthis and take control of key areas, while fighting continues on the fronts in Marib and Al Jouf, with expectations of conditions soon being set to tighten control over the capital.
