Salemakers' Time Away from AC Milan
AC Milan player Alexis Salmaekers has suffered a new injury to his right ankle that may require additional surgery, keeping him out until at least 2027. The player's previous injury in 2024 was to treat a broken heel, and the recent injury is linked to loss of ankle stability after training. This absence is a blow to the team's options, especially since Salmaekers was a key player last season. His absence reduces his appearances since Ruben Amorim took charge of Milan, as he has started only two of the first five Serie A matches.
