Zidane Praises France Team Mindset
Zinedine Zidane, the head coach of the French national team, announced that his first training camp in charge achieved positive results both technically and psychologically. He concluded it with a significant victory over Belgium with a score of 4-1 in the UEFA Nations League, after trailing by a goal in the first half. He pointed out that the results were good, but what mattered most was the players' mentality and the team's cohesion. He also noted that tactical changes led to turning the match in France's favor. Zidane emphasized the importance of improving offensive performance inside the penalty area, stating that the team sometimes lacks the ability for the final breakthrough in certain matches. He indicated that future work will focus on addressing this. Additionally, he praised the team spirit and positive interaction among the players, highlighting the importance of teamwork and achieving a balance between results and technical development.
