Australian university: Fly Dubai assistant did not graduate
The article detailed the attempt by Omani pilot Hmam Al-Hummami, an assistant at Fly Dubai, to carry out a suicide mission on a flight headed to Israel. He faces charges of attempting to stab the aircraft's captain and planning to crash the plane into buildings in Tel Aviv. Investigations revealed that he did not complete his studies at RMIT University in Australia, and authorities are still examining whether he acted independently or was directed by extremist groups. There is currently no evidence linking him to Iran or any external entity. These developments come amid growing security concerns and regional tensions, as investigators look into the pilot’s motives, his previous travel to Israel, and assess his potential radicalization.
