The "Yemen Dawn" operation launched by the Yemeni government forces aims to regain control of strategic areas and lines in Taiz and the northern borders of Ma'rib Governorate, and to destroy Houthi positions in Saada. The Saudi-led coalition supporting legitimacy participated with more than 100 fighter jets. Yemeni forces confirmed they made minor territorial progress by taking control of mountains in Taiz, while the Houthis asserted their hold on their gains on the ground, with clashes continuing in several frontlines. Saudi forces announced that coalition operations have destroyed 324 vital targets and carried out strikes on weapons and missile depots, aiming to secure the Red Sea maritime corridors. Lieutenant General Small Bin Zayed confirmed that the operation is ongoing until all Yemeni state institutions are recovered from Houthi control.
