Montella set to depart Turkey team
Vincenzo Montella is approaching the possibility of leaving his position as head coach of the Turkish national football team, following a disastrous start to the team’s campaign in the UEFA Nations League and their early exit from the World Cup. The team lost all four of their opening matches in the new edition of the Nations League, the most recent of which was a 1-3 defeat against Italy. This has led the Turkish football federation to consider terminating his contract, although no official confirmation has been made yet.
